Resumen:
La hemicolectomía derecha con linfadenectomía D3 y/o escisión total del mesocolon constituye una técnica introducida en las ultima décadas como una variante oncológica que busca estadificar de una manera más exacta, incrementar la supervivencia y disminuir la recidiva en pacientes con cáncer colorrectal del colon derecho.

Abstract:
Right hemicolectomy with D3 lymphadenectomy and/or total excision of the mesocolon is a technique introduced in recent decades as an oncological variant that seeks to more accurately stage, increase survival and decrease recurrence in patients with colorectal cancer of the right colon.
